"My friends will share their photos with me on Facebook."

Many brides tell us that since their friends will be posting on Facebook, there's no need to do anything else.

Consider this:

  1. Many of your guests use Facebook, but not all of them. Does your uncle with the $2,000 camera use Facebook?  Because if he doesn't, you'll miss his photos or have to store his photos separately.
  2. Have you ever tried to print and frame a photo on Facebook? They don't turn out well because it doesn't support the high quality photo resolutions you need for photofinishing.
  3. In 15 years, do you plan on firing up Facebook to look at your wedding photos? If you'd rather keep all your photos someplace on your computer or in that special shoebox under the bed, you need to gather all the photos in high resolution in a single place.
  4. How soon do you want to see your pictures? Do you trust all of your friends to upload their photos before you leave for your honeymoon? Do you want to try and connect with each of them when you get home?
